We used the carpet cleaner this morning when the dog made a giant ooops. You can't even tell now that it was there.

Re: Any ideas how to clean a carpet that has

I am going to have to pick up some natures miracle. I am not a fan of carpet but the place we brought has brand new carpet and I like to keep it nice and we have not been successful at keeping carpet totally stain free in the past.

Re: Any ideas how to clean a carpet that has

Ok, so I think it is clean. Well, it looks clean, lol. I sprayed a mist of OxyClean over it and had a bucket of clean hot water and and empty bucket to use to wring out the rag I used on the carpet. I wanted to have a bucket of clean non sudsy water to help get all of the suds out. It took forever and forever for it to dry. When it was dry, I vacuumed it and then sprinkled a lot of baking soda all over the carpet and let it sit for a while and then vacuumed it up.

I sure wish my parents where here.
Isn't it funny how we think of our parents at times like this?
