Anyone heard from Takara Baby lately?

Really buns me out. She seemed so sweet and I wanted to get more blankets from her. I have one from someone else that was just terrible quality/sewing so I'm skeptical to buy elsewhere (unless it's Tickety Bu which I love too).

She is an ABSOLUTE doll and does work far superior to most others I've seen in her niche, which is why her dropping off the map and screwing quite a few people out of goods, etc, is all the more concerning. A personal friend of hers recently posted on her Facebook wall as a last-ditch effort to get a response:

I've really been hoping to avoid this, but since you will not respond to emails. I guess I will try here. Can you either refund my $100 or send my product out. I hate to think of you as a scammer.

A lot of us know her personally AND professionally and are really in the dark about what's going on. Wish we knew. All outward signs with her business are not positive, though.

And I agree if she's taking a break even a simple my life is stressed post would help a lot

I have seen postings in various places from 5 people saying they sent money and/or fabric and have gotten nothing and no response.

I don't have any by Takara, however I have 4 (I think) by Zaichiki baby that are all amazing! I've also now ordered from Closet on Queen Creek, which gets great reviews, I'll let you know when I recieve it

That's all very unfortunate I feel sorry for the mamas that might be out money :/ and I always feel bad for other WAHMs because I feel like this kind of stuff affects them by making people scared to buy from them

Wow, this just sucks. I bought from her co-op last summer and everything was beautiful. I just don't understand how so many WAHM's can disappear with people's money, no matter the situation there's an easy "refund" option in Paypal.

DS has a blanket from Closet on Queen Creek. I think she did a really good job!
