Pain after weaning
I was an exclusive pumper and have completely stopped pumping about 3-4 weeks ago. I am no longer engorged or full feeling and barely get anything when I pump as I slowly reduced to the point where my supply gradually depleted. But, my boobs are so much more prone to pain. I've noticed that they are way more sensitive than ever before. For instance, we co-sleep and DD will use me to stand up when she wakes up in the morning and if she places her hand on my boob to balance it hurts so bad I yelp! I've never experienced this until now. What gives? Why would the tissue be more sensitive now that I've stopped?
