Potty Learning :(

Is it horrible that I'm sad about my 2 year old doing really well at potty learning? I still have my 10 month old in diapers, but I just feel like he is growing up too fast. We just started a week ago, and he is already on his 3rd day without a diaper (excluding naps and nights). I wasn't expecting it to go this fast!

My 2 y.o. tells me often that she needs to use the potty. I think if I were to push her she would learn really quickly ... but I don't want to!

I thought my son was getting so close to PLing...but a year later he's still not really PLed. I was sad, but now I'm ready for him to be out of diapers He turned three almost a month ago!

we're making really good progress here too...I was actually just thinking this morning that I really don't want to sell off his stash. But we need the money and I'm not putting them back on him, sooooo

these threads always make me chuckle. when's the last time you ever heard of a mom using sposies lament that her child is going to be giving up diapers soon?

I know what you mean. my last is 17 mo and starting to pull off his diaper when he's wet.

Whereas I was super excited to sell off DD's diapers as she started to PLing (she's still working on it), but that's becuase my new diaper addiction is cute boy diapers for DS. Sadly ( I guess, good $wise) we still have lots of gn diapers left from DD.

But yeah, one does get attached to certain diapers

DS didn't even want anything to do with the trainers we got him. He went straight to his little "Tom Train" undies. I feel like the trainers would have eased us into it. I told my DH it's time to start trying for another baby since our boys are getting so big. I don't know why, but I just feel this huge need to have another baby all the sudden. My 10 month old is starting to walk too... my babies aren't babies anymore!

I'm completely attached to our itti bitti d'lishs. I actually like folding them just so I can look at them. Something is wrong with me.

When my youngest (he's 10mo) is close to PLing I might feel that way. Right now if my 2yo decided to suddenly potty train I might very well do a cartwheel I'd be so happy As it is my 4yo still has poop accidents almost daily due to some sensory/developmental issues (he's day trained for pee though), so I'm still dealing with 3 kids poop on a daily basis. I get a little sad about my little ones growing up so quickly, but I would be fantastically thrilled to be done with the diapering phase.

If we used sposies.. I would be thrilled to be done with diapers. Every now and then I take a stroll down the diaper aisle when we're out just for the heck of it.. I can't believe the prices, good grief!
