Red face diaper buying help

This is from tinkle traps... now... I have never bought or used a fitted, so I need some help, what should I be getting for a heavy wetter (basically I want you to tell me all the options I should order with the diaper lol) thanks

All of my Prefold Fitteds come with extended back wings, and leg/back elastic. I can custom trim the rise for you also. I offer two different styles of prefold fitted, one is serged, and the other is turned, but not topstitched.

SERGED PREFOLD FITTED PRICING

To convert your prefolds into Serged Prefold Fitteds starts at $4.00/diaper.

Doublers can be made from the material trimmed from the legs of the prefold. They can be either lay in, sewn-in quick dry or snap in.

Cost: Doubler made from the material trimmed from the legs: $.75

Microfleece, Suede Cloth, Flannel, Sherpa, or Cotton Velour topped

Doubler $1.00

Organic Velour or Organic Sherpa Topped Doubler $1.50

Add Cotton fleece to Doubler for added absorption: $.50

Add Hemp to doubler for added absorption: $1.00

Add OC fleece to doubler for added absorption: $1.50

Aplix: $.75 Snaps: $1.25 (Color varies, generally matched to serging.)

Available Thread Colors for Serging include: Jade Green, Royal Blue, Royal Purple, Pastel Variegated, White, Red, Rainbow Variegated, Blue Variegated, Black, Natural, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Magenta, Mint Green, Turquoise Variegated, Red, White & Blue Variegated, Purple Variegated, Red Variegated, Green Variegated, Jewel Tone Variegated and Orange Variegated.

TURNED PREFOLD FITTED PRICING

Turned Prefold Fitteds are lined with a layer of another material and are slightly more expensive, due to the cost of the extra material. The benefit to the turned but not topstitched prefold fitted is that there is no serging around the legs to irritate a sensitive baby’s skin. They are still completely pin and Snappi friendly, but can also have snaps or Aplix added also.

Cost:

Prefolds lined with Flannel: $4.75

Prefolds lined with Micro fleece, Suede Cloth, Sherpa,

Cotton Velour or Cotton Fleece: $5.50

Prefolds lined with Hemp: $6.00

Prefolds lined with Organic Sherpa, OC Fleece or Organic Velour $6.75

All of the same options for Serged Prefold Fitteds can be applied for the same cost to Turned Prefold Fitteds (Doublers, Snaps, Aplix). My turned diapers are serged along the top edge. You can pick from the above listed serging colors also.

Volume Discounts:

Flat Return shipping to you of $4.10 for 12 – 23 diapers.

For 12 – 23 diapers I give a 10% discount off the total pricing

For 24+ diapers I give a 15% discount, with free return shipping.

These are Serged Prefold Fitteds with snaps.

These pictures show the front and inside of a Turned Prefold Fitted. It has been lined with dyed cotton velour, and has a lay in doubler topped with the same cotton velour.

Re: diaper buying help

I'd put fleece on top if you are thinking of getting doublers made. I went without anything when I ordered from her... at least some of them are for the smaller size before he started wetting through them so hopefully I won't be selling them off

I did go with half aplix so it would be easer to change a little baby and the others left to be snappied.

Re: diaper buying help

I really like to use my converted pre-folds for when DS is airing out a bit but I don't think of them as very absorbant. JMHO
