DH baby name choices make me depressed.

We are team green and have a girl name (well 2 girl names picked out) but we cannot agree on boy names. He wants names that I would feel horrible giving to my child. I like his names but not for our kid. Every time I read the list I CRY and think that he is going to tell me he is joking, but he is serious. He has been watching a lot of roman/ Greek stuff and so he has impulse names. I just want hit him when we talk about names because I feel like his are unrealistic and he shouldn't expect me to want to name our baby them. And the few on his list that I think are OK he says they are his LAST choice and wouldn't be happy to name our kid them.

Are the names that you circled the ones you would be OK with?

No he circled them. The only name I am ok with is Sampson and I dont really like that name with our last name.

And I am glad to know I am not the only one who thinks its a freaking JOKE! I could understand if we were roman or whatever but we are NOT.

Titus is a nice name, other than that I wouldnt be happy with any of them either. Have you just sat him down and told him what you told us? Maybe he would realize its really bothering you and you both could scrap your lists and start with completely new names?

I can understand why you are not feeling the love. Those are very unique names and not for everyone.

I told him and he has seen me cry about it a few times but just says its not worth crying over.
