need blanket/swaddle advice...

I have a new daycare baby starting next week. We are discouraged from using blankets in the cribs at naptime and I have found research showing that swaddling can lead to hip displasia. I am wondering if there is something out there that is a cross between a sleep gown (meaning loose fitting) and a swadle (easy to put on/off). Any suggestions?

There is one that is loose at the bottom and tight at the top I saw on a website I shop at....forgot the name. I'll look it up, not sure if it's what you are looking for, but might be.

The concern for their hips is mostly only if they're swaddled all the time. Just when they're sleeping is fine. Just for warmth, Carters makes some little sleepers that have arms and zip up the front that you can just put over clothes that were really handy.

this.

swaddling for sleeping isn't going to hurt their hips.
