Well here we are in July, ladies! 18 more days til our first baby is born! Almost to the finish line, so lets not forget to rest and take a little me time amidst the busy preparation!

I realized this morning that since i usually only make it to about 38 weeks, ive got about 6 weeks left. How did time fly?
Sent from my DROID X2 using DS Forum. That means my typing is probably awful. I'm sorry.

Re: Weekly chat july 2
Hard to believe that I only have 6 weeks left before my dd. So I will be considered term in 3 weeks. I have so much to do. Good thing I don't work much this week and DH is off so we can work on the bathroom and getting the trim work done. I hope to have all the diapers prepped and the wools lanolized.

Re: Weekly chat july 2
Just about 5 weeks here! We have our crib set up and sidecarred to our bed, diapers and clothes washed. I still have a few things I need but my baby shower isn't until the last Sunday in July (I know we're pushing it! lol) so I am waiting to see what I get, I know I have everything I need to get by for a few days so we'd be ok if she came early.
So ready for her to be here!

This is getting way too exciting!!! Remember when we were puking our guts out, worrying about mc, and barely able to function???
Oh, I completely forgot I have to lanolize too! Thanks for the reminder!

Re: Weekly chat july 2
I have been fighting a UTI for a few weeks now. Two scares of contractions at 3 mintues apart for hours. Three types of antibiotics later and I am still having contractions but getting better I think. Thankfully I didnt have a baby this weekend but it really got me thinking how close I really am to baby time. Three weeks more and my baby will be "full term." WOW!!! it is so close. I need to get busy. No wonder I am cleaning everything I touch today.
THREE WEEKS. AHHH!!

Re: Weekly chat july 2
Sandy, glad you're starting to feel better!!! I have 3 wks til full term too! I'm expecting to go the full 40 wks though. Dd came on her due date so I think I will be dead on with this one. Although I certainly wouldn't complain if he came a week early

Re: Weekly chat july 2
DD was born on her EDD too, so I'm expecting the 40 week, so that means 7 weeks to go. Doctor tried to be sweet with DD and at 38 weeks said any day....that is SOOO mean. So I plan for the full time, otherwise those last days DRAG. Time to start on my July to-do list, including the wedding reception meal planning!

Wow, yes, its coming soon!. Tho I'm due Aug 29 so I probably have a bit more time. (tho I HOPE its early so my doc doesn't try to push csec on me).
Nesting has kicked in full boar, which I LOVE, but working too hard wears me out, and really bothers my hip/groin issue. Going to family cabin tmrw for 4-5 days. Swimming, boating, campfires(MMMMM smores!). It's supposed to be hot/humid this week tho. But we did put in a window air conditioner, so if it gets to be too much ill go chill out in a bedroom. Or, we will just have to be at the lake all the time so I can jump in. I wonder how many July babies we will have? |
