Re: Weekly chat july 2

^ Oh, wow, that's coming up so soon!

I'll be 36 weeks on Tuesday. Next weekend we're having our son's birthday party, then on his actual birthday (Tuesday the 17th) I'll be full term. I'm hoping to go a bit early, any time after his birthday and I'll be happy. My son was 10 days early, so fingers crossed that this one decides to follow his lead! I've been soooooo uncomfortable lately. This baby is so active, too. I feel huge and waddle around, sometimes on my toes because it's so painful at times.

edit: oops, I'm repeating myself. I already said all this, haha.

2,014 items in 2014?

Just want to share my excitement...

Tonight was first night my son(who will be 2 on Oct 18), is sleeping in his new bedroom and toddler bed! He went to sleep in less than 10 min and never got out of the bed. SO happy.
He was very tired tho. We even took him for a walk tonight to make sure he was extra tired. So we will see if it continues going this well for night/naps.. he fights sleep often.
But I've been nervous about this transition. So I'm glad that the first night went as smooth as I could have hoped.

We made the transition a few months ago for my 3 yo. He had been sleeping on a matress on the floor and I would lay with him to get to bed. He got his new slide loft bed and for a while I was laying on the floor until he fell asleep. Now I just go in, read to him, and he gives me a kiss and goes to bed. I was worried how bedtime was going to work with the baby.
