Re: July Chat Thread

Hey ladies Thanks for starting this thread Nicole, it has been too quiet!
I'm doing well, no more waves of nausea, although I've started getting heartburn, which isn't much fun! We had our first appointment with the homebirth midwife we decided on last Friday, went well, but couldn't hear baby with the doppler. We didn't hear DD until 14 weeks though so I'm not worried, we've got our next appointment for July 23rd, should hear babe's heartbeat then
We closed on the house we bought today! So we'll have a crazy time moving now and all that, I'm sure the next two weeks will be a blur!

I am on home health with IV fluids and a zophran pump. Ugh, I hate it but it is keeping me out of the hospital. I will be 11 weeks tomorrow so hopefully, the sickness goes away sooner than later...

I am calling insurance tomorrow to see if they cover the NT scan...and hopefully they can tell me how much the 20% portion I need to pay will be. That will be a huge determining factor for me. I didn't have this with either boy,.never was offered but I did have bloodwork for it...why is an u/s part of it now? I remember them giving me a ratio of the chances but nothing else..

They use the blood test combined with the NT scan. Go on YouTube and watch videos of NT scans. It's crazy what they can tell!

Re: July Chat Thread

Mood swings mood swings... everywhere in my house. If it's not me it's DH. lol
The morning sickness has slacked off and my house is getting cleaner, but I am still tired as can be. Just been pushing myself to do more. Half the house is clean. lol The big part is the kitchen and it is far from done. >.<
I go back to the dr on the 18th for my actual physical. Really strange that I didn't get one on my first appointment.
My 5 yr old is being as hard headed as ever and I know that I have been very short with him. I have to remember that he is still 5 sometimes.
