Vintage Kitchen Aid Mixer Help

Today I found a KitchenAid Model 3-C Mixer at a Yard Sale for $5!! It only came with 1 broken wisk attachment, and the bowl holding plate needs replaced because it's just worn out. Does anyone know where I can find the bowl holding plate, and what attachments will fit on this? =) I hope to make bread, cookie dough, etc. with it. I am SO excited!!!

Have you tried contacting KA about this? They should be able to help you I would think.

Definitely contact them- they gave me a local repair shop where I could get parts when I had to fix my broken blender.

Re: Vintage Kitchen Aid Mixer Help

I'm curious because I have my paternal grandmother's set. I have all parts in good shape, but cord is rotted so it's only been on display over my cabinets. I don't have another one so I would love to actually be able to use it. She passed in 1973 so it's at least that old!!
