EBF BM
My ebf 3 1\2 week old daughter poops constantly! I can change her every hour and she is poopy every time. Then she poops on the changing table. Then an hour later. Literally, every single time we check her.....Is this normal??

It was for us! My first 2 kiddos would poop at the end of a nap. My third, now 9 wks, would poop after he nursed and just fell asleep. So frustrating! It It will become less frequent. Ds now makes it through the night without pooping usually and has about 3 poops before noon.
I'm typing on my iPhone, sorry.

My DS poo'd after every "meal"... Breastmilk or solids until he was about 8/9 months old... So in those early day's it felt like around the clock!

My dd did that until 5-6 weeks when she started easing off. Now she poops once or twice in the morning every day. Once in awhile she'll toss in a random afternoon poop, but not every day. The best is when you are literally at the door to leave the house and hear that squishy farting sound and she just grins up at you. She did that this morning as we were leaving for our walk. What a turd!

I took DD2 to the hospital due to constipation, and was told as part of the conversation with the pedi that breastfed babies poop ranges from once every hour or two to once every ten days.
