How much does an 11 month old, non-solids eating baby drink?

In formula or breastmilk?

I'm having two biopsies next week & DS will need to be bottle fed (he does fine, we just don't use one typically) for 8-12 hours each day.

Starting with his morning feeding, nap (9:30 am), "lunch" (11:30 am), late afternoon (1:30-2:30ish), "dinner" (4/5pm), pre-bed (7:30pm).

So, maybe 6 feedings if I have to go 12 hours. (It depends on how much sedation they use.)

I'm not sure how much to pump & what my goal should be. At best I'm getting 2oz per breast when I pump, and so far I only have 4 oz saved. :/

I have today, Friday, Sat, and Sun to get the milk stored.

Varies, of course. But my daughter drank about 7-8 5oz bottles a day.

We did BLW with DD. Shes 12 mo. Shes does eat solid but not a lot. She just doesnt want or need them yet.

ETA- any baby 12 or younger should still mostly be consuming fluids, be in BM or Formula.

Amanda . Blaming my phone for typos and crap.

And, to answer the question at hand??

From Kellymom I'm getting anywhere from 4-6 oz a feeding. I know he nurses 6 times in the time frame I won't be able to nurse him, so I'm guessing I need to prepare 36oz a day.

YIKES

My son was eating solids at that age, but was consuming 36-40oz of formula at that age. His bottles were usually 5-6oz at a time, he just ate frequently all day and night. Good luck!

Mine was eating solids too and drinking about 36oz a day. He didn't eat much, but I am thinking your 36 oz estimation might be a little low. I would probably aim for a little more if you can.

DD did 6 oz bottles at that point. She did one for breakfast, before nap, 5:00 pm, bedtime, and one in the middle of the night.

She was about 17 pounds at the time.
