Today I am catching up on housework, visiting the Dr., and interviewing a sitter.

DS4 is up and enjoying breakfast and come computer games.

So far I have the kitchen in complete order,
and am about to wash the master bath shower - so that I will be done with that and the master bedroom.

Good morning all!

Ru has taken E off to his last day of Lego camp and I am up and doing laundry. She is going to go for groceries after she drops him off, and then we both have chiro appointments at 11am. We need to hit the natural food store and then come home to tidy the house a bit. Ru's cousin arrives late this afternoon to spend two night's with us. She is up from Texas. We are also having friends over for a BBQ tonight, so it will be a big old get together.

We had a really rough morning this morning.

Shannon, Derry and Cami were up LONG before me. Had computer games, popcorn and fanta in their room. The lights on, games beeping and playing music and all of them in Shannon's bed.

Food is not allowed in their beds, Drinks especially not! Games are not allowed in the mornings and they really do know they aren't supposed to get up, or turn on the lights in the mornings until I say they can get up. They are meant to be sleeping!

So I took the loudest computer and threw it in the bin. I told them they have an electronic-game (that means no MP3 players, no hand-held computers games, no computers and or laptops....it doesn't include TV) ban for the entire weekend and that if I find them breaking the rules again it'll be another electronic game that lands in the bin!

Tears by Derry but not the other two. They said they understand....we'll see.

I took all of their electronic games and locked them in my room so they cant find them or get them.

Kari going back to work SUCKS...I know. The only thing that saved me is loving my job and the nursing relationship MH and I had.

Mel sounds like a fin evening.

I am up. Yoga done. Coffee in hand. Kitchen organized, living room picked up. Washer on the second (last load) dryer going and two loads sitting in the basket whispering to me to fold them...I am still ignoring them but once my coffee is gone I need to knock them out.

MH just stumbled put of bed. Jerry is still in bed, he needs the rest desperately so we will let him sleep. We have had 3 all nights in her bed this week so not too bad.

I have a finance committee and then regular board meeting for the charter school starting at 9 AM today. MH and Jerry will head out at that time to MIL for the ceremony. It is a big day today and MH will love it as it involves many men on horseback. This is too hard a ceremony to explain to you myself. This is a pretty good description..not perfect but not bad. Jerry's sister is the main patient. So a young man is taking her place in the staff carrying. Which is what happens when a woman is the main patient. MH will get to be part of the staff carrying today.

No school for MH today, Jen? I hope she has a good time at the ceremony.

I am showered and dressed and have another load of laundry going. We need to head out in 15 minutes for chiro. I don't want to venture into the heat!

Shannon has been a sweetheart all afternoon. She made me a coffee, she asked if she could empty&reload the dish washer (she did) and then asked if there was anything else she could do. I gave her the kids underwear to sort into sizes.

She's a good girl really and is sorry for messing up recently. I told her I'm really pleased she's being good but that the punishment has to stand.

Fynn is sick. He has a cough, snotty (crusty & sore) nose, gunk in his eyes, and a fever
