Re: What infant car seat are you going to use?
Thanks mamas! I have a little wrap stash for the baby and plan to wear him most places we go. I prefer the bucket car seats for the first year since we live in a very hot climate and our van takes a while to cool down, otherwise I'd go for one of the rear-facing convertible seats.
DH and I went to BRU yesterday and checked out the Chicco KeyFit and the Britax B-Ready. We saw tons of moms that day at BRU and the mall pushing around the Chicco travel system, it's definitely popular! We liked the look and feel of the Britax the best and he's been wanting a new stroller so when we got home we ordered the Britax B-Ready car seat and stroller on Amazon. We haven't seen the stroller in real life so I'm crossing my fingers that we like it!

Re: What infant car seat are you going to use?
I just wanted to point out that the one thing I love about the carseat we have is the no rethread adjustable harness. It makes refitting the carseat SO much easier. I hated having to take the car seat out to adjust it when DD1 was a baby.

Re: What infant car seat are you going to use?
Safety 1st onBoard Air :-) We had the snugride for DS1 and HATED it. This one was much lighter and we have both the Complete Air and onSide Air for convertibles and just love the entire line.
For stroller we're getting the Lamaze Indigo. It does everything that the B-Ready I really wanted does plus the seat turns into a bassinet (you have to buy seperately for the b-ready) and it's half the price. And I won't need an infant seat adapter as far as I know.

I just got the Chico magic too at BRU. I was thrilled to have found it, I needed to fit 3 across in my vehicle and key fits are nice and narrow but the normal canopy on them makes me very unhappy
I love the huge canopy and the mesh vent especially with an August baby and the included boot will be great for winter. I think they are 20% off right now too.

Re: What infant car seat are you going to use?
I went with the Graco Snugride 30. I bought it at Babies R Us for $111 (it was 20% off). I read a lot of great reviews and decided it was the best "bang for my buck".

Re: What infant car seat are you going to use?
I have the Evenflo Discovery 5. My in-laws bought it for me without any consultation with DS2. I hardly ever took it out of the car since my back can't sustain carrying around an infant car seat. I baby wore as much as possible, but DS2 didn't like to be worn!
