Diaper Swappers

We are a group of parents that chat and support each other.
We have been at this for a while so some of us are out of the diapering stage.
...some were out and are back in again.
Every once in a while we actually get to answer a diaper question or two in here.
If you are looking for a very diverse and open group come on over and chat.

The lemon zucchini bread is crack. I love it. DH went to do beans, some gypsies came and tried to lay hot tar, the neighbors horses got out, and I fed the kids supper. Then I froze a gallon of tomatoes and 20 cups of shredded zucchini. Should be about time to do chores once my regular bread comes out of the oven. I am exhausted.

Reading your posts is really always a pleasure....and very surreal too. Gypsies tried to lay hot tar? What?...why, how come they tried? Didn't they have a contract with you or did they just arrive with a bucket of hot tar and start working?

Did you catch all the horses?

I was able to get everything done so all I need to do it clean up after the sub before the visit on Monday. Jerry is being interviewed by the state with a panel of other parents. It was nice of him to agree to do it.

Janine, if the stars aligned like that for me, I'd be afraid of the giant asteroid about to hit the earth.

Every time I go to the kids' school I am just more relieved. They have such a super staff and all the resources they need to accommodate every child's various strengths and weaknesses. I am so glad we moved here.

It took some doing to get the stars like that. I kicked and shoved them into line myself. It didn't happen on its own.

The kids got pretty hair today. They were happy that things are back to normal too.

Ok, I drank juices, ate breakfast and lunch, did some knitting, sent Heiner the shopping list, watch lots of tv...and now I'm going for a nap

Janine the horses got caught, but not by me. The gypsies just asked to lay tar, and I am not 100% they were gypsies but I saw them doing that on an episode of Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding so that is my story

The exact conversation was "I see you got a big ole gravel drive and I have some extra hot tar ready to go. Can I go ahead and lay that for you?" jaw drops open....*crickets* "no"

But seriously, why would you have "extra" tar enough to pave over 1/2 a mile of driveway?

Can I say how good it feels to be here in bed lazy while the other two have to get ready. Granted I have to be up soon too but I dont have to be at my training until 8:30 and Jerry has to drop MH by 7:30

And they are gone. Mel I just realized as they pulled out that I have to adjust MH's carseat AGAIN...we just did when you were here and now I have to do it again tonight. Crazy long torso child!
