This is beautiful is it a dark purple or a dark blue? I'm new to slings and only have a Maya sling for now but definitely want to add more. The maya material is so thick and warm. Is silk sling thinner and cooler? Thanks.

It's a deep, royal purple. Silk is thin but strong. It's great for warm weather!
