turning banana bread into banana muffins??

I've never turned a bread recipe into muffins before. I'm assuming I just put the batter in muffin tins instead and reduce the cooking time. Is this correct? Any tips? I'm going to do it this afternoon.

(I have too many bananas. So, I'm going to make 2 batches, one of bread and one of muffins to freeze. I think muffins generally freeze better than bread, but maybe not. Either way, I like that you can take them out only 1 or 2 at a time. )

I use THIS recipe for banana muffins and the whole family loves them. I have not mastered banana bread yet though LOL

I just did this last week because the muffins are easier for travel and it worked! Just bake them like you would muffins, 18-20 minutes for my oven.

Awesome! I'm going to try it. We love our bread recipe. So, I'll just turn it into muffins. I was thinking I might top the muffins with some cinnamon sugar just for fun. I have a pumpkin muffin recipe I was figuring I would follow that timing of 16-20 minutes.
