I had mine out June 25 and we are TTA until Nov/Dec.

I had mine for 4.5y. I nursed for a little over 3y. After I quit nursing I started getting migrains regularly. So after dealing with that for a while I decided with my midwife my iud had to go.

I had it out in Oct. Had a cycle in Nov. And found out we were prego Dec. 7. We are due in just a few weeks.

I used Mirena between #1 & #2 and got pg the first month!!! (no monthly just straight to pg). #2 turned out healthy, fine, and normal.
Go for it!

I'm getting mine out on this coming Tuesday! We are not really going to be trying right away but not preventing either. If it doesn't happen in the 1st couple of months we will really start trying and charting all the fun stuff.
