This is the first time for me, but hopefully that's it. I do drink a ton of water (like 2-3 gallons a day). One med I'm on makes me thirsty. Also I can't have table salt, because it contains corn, so my sodium levels are usually low. However, I could try and cut that back a bit on the sea salt. I'm upping my magnesium intake too for a short bit to see if that helps.

Re: Pregnancy After Loss Thread

I finally got brave enough to check for a heartbeat (I'll be 12 weeks on Tuesday) and I found it pretty easily and then my Doppler died so I guess no more checking which is okay. Today the baby is still alive and I was living under the cloud that s/he wasn't.

Heart beat doesn't mean anything for me. I've always seen and heard a heart beat and seen a healthy looking baby before they died, but at least for this moment I can let go of the dread. I hope that makes sense.

Table salt has corn? Good gracious.

Glad you found the heartbeat mama I wish it could be more comfort to you.

Yeah, I've never had heart problems before, and I'm not sure if the hydration/reduced sodium helped....or if it was just a first trimester pregnancy thing! Hopefully, yours will resolve as well!

Hey everyone. I had a scary few hours on Thursday with mild spotting. It quickly stopped, but I was in panic mode for a bit there. I spotted a lot with my girls, but it is still the scariest thing ever...especially after a loss. Thank goodness for an understanding husband to cry on!

I had my intake appointment on Friday and everything looks good. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday, so here's hoping for more good news! I'm still awfully dizzy and tired, with bouts of nausea here and there. I feel like crud, and that's okay!

I'm bleeding, bright red and a decent amount. No cramps, though. We'll see

Re: Pregnancy After Loss Thread

More blood this morning went I went to the bathroom, so I'm now waiting for this little one to be born.

I finally had a miscarriage dream last night that was really real feeling. I birthed the amniotic sack whole (which I've done once) and there were 2 babies inside and when I broke it open, they didn't look like babies, but paper dolls that were stuck together.
