Must Haves after birth?
What did you use or want for after the baby to care for yourself? Any good kits to buy with everything?
*Many peri cold packs ~ my MW only recommended 4 disposable. I want to have 6 pp reusable pads with ice packs. *Bath herbs for healing *Belly band to tighten things up faster *Nipple cream- for sore and chaffing *Lots of easy snacks So what about you mamas?

Lanolin, comfy clothes, lots of water, good snacky food (like fruit - I always crave fruit postpartum), some chocolate, lots of friends and family, and sleep.

Re: Must Haves after birth?
- gigantic water bottle
- many light weight pj sets - I sweated like crazy and had to get up to change my pj's in the middle of the night for weeks. -black underwear. After a while i couldn't tolerate pads (didn't know about mama cloth)and the lochia had just about stopped. So I just bought a bunch of black undies and wore them instead of pads or liners. |

Re: Must Haves after birth?
Definitely a HUGE WATER BOTTLE (like everyone else has said). Treat yourself to a fancy one that you will carry around.
Handheld, high-calorie snacks. Make the hubby make your lunch when he makes his and put it in the fridge. We made sandwiches cut in four! |
