I need some help/advise/encouragement :(

Keep up the good work mama! It sounds like you are doing great, and he just likes boobies Is this the first kiddo you've nursed? Or just the first one who has nursed so much? My DD (my first) nursed nonstop and I went through several mini panic attacks where I was certain I would spend the next couple years with her attached to my boob, but that didn't happen I promise it will get better!

Sounds like you're doing what you need to as long as he puts out enough wet and dirty diapers and is gaining weight. I combo feed with DD (personal choice) and she gets 4 ounces every 3.5 hours or so and we breastfeed in between. It really is important to pace with bottles and have a really slow flow nipple to help. I burp her about every ounce and watch for when she slows down on her sucking and then take it out. When I give the bottle back I make sure she really wants it, if she pushes it out I don't give it. Generally she only takes 3 ounces and rarely rarely all 4.

Oh, sometimes she will nurse almost all day even with the supplements. It's crazy...she loves nursing.
