Chutes and Ladders!
ETA: you will have to help them count and show which direction to go, but my kids enjoyed it at that age

Barnyard Bingo (Fisher Price) (colors/matching) Match the animal and colors after you use the lever to remove a token from the standing barn- very fun for littles.

Adopt a Dog (Fisher Price) (matching) Has a bunch of dog figures along with cards with the toys each likes- collect the toys and "adopt" the dog.

Scrambled Eggs (Fisher Price) (colors/shapes) A little of a loud and crazy game-think Hungry Hungry Hippos, but open "crack" each egg to reveal the colored shape inside- if they match your card you keep them. Includes a frying pan and spatula to make it even more fun.

Orchard- HABA (cooperative) Collect little toy fruits as you roll the dice and beat the crow- a combo of Hangman with the crow puzzles to beat and Hi Ho Cherry O

Acrobats (dexterity game) Roll the die to hang different color bats without having the whole thing fall down.

Pepino the Clown (Ravensburger) (matching) Stack up the clown pieces to match the color sequence on a clown card.

Funny Bunny (Ravensburger) This one needs a little more patience- like Candy land but with holes that appear to take your pieces out of play. I do get a little tired of this one at times.

We like to collect games, so I think these are all older games- but if you see them at a thrift store or yard sale, they are great.

We really really like Uno Moo. We also have a Hot Tomato game that the kids love and get such giggles out of at that age. It's an elmo version of hot potato and it laughs and vibrates and there's little cards that come with it for when they get a bit better...like for one round you may have to name something yellow before you pass it on.
