When I get used toys, I just wipe them down really good with Lysol wipes

Do you need to rinse the toys off after using bleach?

I do! Then I let them dry in the sun, if I can. My sisters old daycare provider used to bleach the toys once a week and always rinsed after.

put plastic and ones that can get wet in a sink full of dawn and a tsp of bleach scrub them good. Rinse good! I never took used cloth/fabric/stuffed animal toys from anyone.

I use hot vinager water for plastic. Cloth gets thrown in the wasing machine in a small load, hot water, and a cup of vinager.(vinegar is a natural disinfectant and it wont hurt baby )

Re: How do you disinfect baby toys?

I put plastic toys in the dishwasher, and wash cloth toys/stuffed animals in the washer and dry in the dryer.

I just use hot soapy water. Soft toys go in the washer inside a pillowcase.
