Disappointed with my Imagine AIO

I got one of the new OS Imagine AIOs and one newborn AIO. I was so excited for them to come! I opened it up as soon as I got the package and fell in love with the newborn diaper. I loved how the insert snapped to the front of the diaper making it much more like an AIO than most other flap style AIOs (it is sewn to the back and snaps in the front so connected at both ends ).

But my excitement was short lived when I realized that it didn't fit my 10 lb baby Then I looked at the OS. The sewing across the front is pretty bad. It is like the fabric was pulled while it being sewn so it puckered and doesn't lay flat at all. The velcro strip is also sewn on crooked. This most definitely would be considered a second quality diaper by most companies. Then the soaker is so short that there is no way I could use it on the largest size setting. My soaker is only 10 inches long after being prepped! It is the same size as a Fuzzibunz NEWBORN insert!

All in all, I pretty disappointed. I can't use the newborn one since my DD is too big (I think it is because she has chubby thighs) and the AIO is sewn funky and the insert is too small. Did everyone else end up with soakers this small or is mine just a fluke? I really wanted to love these diapers and am so sad that they won't work for us

I'd love to hear more about the newborn sized AIOs... considering getting some for the new baby....

I bought three OS AIOs and ended up sending them back after washing. The inserts shrunk horribly and won't fit my petite 22 month old!!

I've not had good luck with AIOs. Can't get a good fit either sized or OS.

Re: Disappointed with my Imagine AIO

I'd contact the company about the defects with the OS. I'm sure they'd replace it, as their customer service is AWESOME.

Re: Disappointed with my Imagine AIO

The soakers in mine are super super short too. I figure I can just lay them in the cover when my little guy gets bigger. They work really well at holding in his pee, so they're at least functional!

I did get a hole in one of the soakers though and they've only been used/washed like 4 times not including prepping. I will just sew it closed, but I hope they don't all fall apart...

Re: Disappointed with my Imagine AIO

I already dislike mine.

First of all, it is really an AI2. Second, the landing strip rubs my DD's thighs raw. Third, the soakers are CRAZY short. Stupid short. Fourth, the rise is short- my 14 month old fits it totally unsnapped. Fifth, the terry is rough (admittedly this is true of a lot of terry.) Sixth, the soakers hold onto smells. I have a stash full of microfiber and nary a stink- except for those Imagine bamboo soakers!!

Disliked mine for all of the reasons previously listed. Wanted to like them.
I sent them back within the 15 day wash and wear timeframe for a store credit.

Me too and I bought 10.... I wanted to love them, I liked the fit but I had to unsnap the soaker and move it up on my 4 month old DD on the middle setting. This bugged me cause I wanted to be able to snap it in. I think really they can keep the soaker length what it is but they need to add a second set of snaps at least further down for the middle and unsnapped rise. The dry time was long too....but that I could have lived with. Plus I think they run small overall. I just wonder didn't they test these? If they would make a few improvements on them i'd try them again tho.
