Is my 3mo old a super soaker?
My 3mos old DD seems to leak every night... I have started changing her at her feeding around midnight, and her diaper is barely wet, but by 6 or 7am, she's leaking thru a Thirsties Fab Fitted with a hemp doubler and a Duo cover. I also use Bamboozles sometimes. I'm really not wanting to get into wool right now. Do you think a pocket stuffed with a couple of hemp inserts would be better? I have a few different covers, and maybe I just need to change her another time during the night. I hate getting her super awake making it harder for her to go back to sleep though.
It's not an issue of the diaper absorbing, as everything is saturated. Ideas?

Re: Is my 3mo old a super soaker?
My LO is almost 3 months and started doing the same recently. They only thing I found to help so far is putting wool over her PUL cover, just so the bed doesn't get all wet. But, you said no to wool LOL. So I'm not much help. I feel kind of bad for all the BULK that is needed to keep her dry at night, it doesn't look comfy at all to me, so I've started putting her in one disposable for night the last few days and I think I may just do that because her HUGE fluffy butt with doublers, PUL cover and then wool cover looks so uncomfortable that it makes me sad.

Last night was ok-ish... Changed her at 11:30 into a Bamboozles with the snap in liner and a Happy Heinys cover and she was just barely damp at 7:30 am. I don't even keep sposies on hand, so hopefully she isn't too uncomfortable in her fluffibum!
I may have to try wool at some point...

Does she wake again after you change her? She may be like my dd and hold it and let it all go at once. We use thirsties duo fitteds with a hemp insert stuffed in it under a thirsties cover. This works for us. We also use geffen baby prefolds and I'm prepping geffen baby super absorbers to use at night with thirsties covers as well.

I tried a pocket with a microfiber over a hemp insert, and for some reason that worked well from 12:00-7:00... Maybe just a fluke.
