I know nothing about these seats but when I saw the thread title I thought is was a "how do you like this name" thing .

I have one because it's the only way I have found to get 3 across with 2 rf I my accord, but I don't use the latch ever because of the issues. I always do a seatbelt install. It's the biggest pita to install this car seat.

Both of mine are the older original XT's so no super latch issues. I love them, I will use them until they expire and then I will bury them in the back yard. I'm almost serious, I love them!

I never heard about the latch issues. Mine is latch installed, but it has always been super tight, never has loosened on its own. But I'm going to have DH move it to seat belt tomorrow. Dh has been wanting another Britax Blvd anyways, so I think he may have won that battle, lol.

ETA: why didn't I get anything in the mail from them, mine is the XTSL that is named as one with latch issues.

That is crazy.

I went out to the car and gave the car seat a shake, it was tight when I started but loosed up fast. That is scary, I'm pretty peeved about it. But I'm happy I found out about this. DH does all the installs but he is really obsessed with getting the car seats in right and tight, so I know it was a proper install.

I have three 80SL and love them, they are sunshine kids though, no new name when we bought them in 9/10. I haven't had any latch issues, will check on them again tomorrow but they have been tight, hope they stay that way.

They never sent out any warnings! They denied there was even an issue and blamed it on user error. If you called and complained they sent you the "newer" latch even though the d was as old as the seat you had of older! They lied and tried to cover it up. I will never trust a company that lies like they did. My children's safety is not worth the risk, so we trashed the seats and now have britax seats and we love them!
