Do you pump at night?
I had low supply with DD once I went back to work when she was 3 months old. I was able to pump 2-3 times during work hours if I was lucky. Mothers Milk Tea, lots of water, and oatmeal did not help. I'm wondering if my supply will be helped if I pump after middle of the night feedings this time...

Try it! I experienced a little decline in my supply when I went back to work and I had to start pumping right before I went to bed. After about 4 days my supply was back up. I would say try it for 5 days and see if it helps you.

Re: Do you pump at night?
Try thistle or genugreek too 4 supply. Try pumping one side & feed on other on one feeding time the then try opposite side next time. Baby really is best at getting supply up &out but to keep both sides going try pump as long as good one. Try heat too b4 u pump if u think it is let down issues. Try lactation or la lache league too 4 help.

Re: Do you pump at night?
yes pumping more frequently will help. Try Fenugreek supplements and goats rue... Goats rue took about two weeks but made a big difference for me.

Re: Do you pump at night?
Some moms can skip those night pumpings by pumping right before bed and first thing in the morning (generally in tandem with the morning feed). More stimulation=more milk so squeeze in the extra sessions when it is most convenient.

I do. My freezer stash was very low (4 bags) a few weeks back and I pumped nightly (usually 2 times a night while dd nursed) and got my stash up to 15 bags in a little over a week. Thats plenty for us as I only work 2 days a week. I still pump at night if she sleeps 3-4 hr stretches. If she doesn't it isn't worth it for me to pump.
