Re: Bento Style Lunches Without The Expensive Kits

I'm really interested in bento as well. Where did you get your silicone muffin cups?

I got the standard sized cups at Walmart with the Wilton cake decorating supplies. There are 6 for $1.98

Re: Bento Style Lunches Without The Expensive Kits

I dont see many kids with expensive bento systems here. Most just use reusable containers like the big rectangle ziploc and the divided one. If you had dip or something runny youd put it in a little sized container. No need for pricey systems, bento just means boxed lunch. I have seen a few kids with this or my DH has this -hawaii, lots of japanese influence

I'll check out Walmart. Did you happen to find mini ones there too?

Oh thank you so much for posting this! I was going to spend more gettingthem on amazon. I just figured Walmart wouldn't have anything like that.
