KAL 7/15-7/21: Knit something that makes you smile

Not sure if we had a theme, so here goes! I love the power of positive thinking. My current project, a Little Hoodlum knit with HP Jazzfest, definitely makes me smile.

knitting sweaters always makes me smile. I love knitting the saffron.

I finally finished everything on the sleeper gown except the sleeves, one sleeve is on the dpns. I picked up the underarm stitches wrong I think. There's a little ridge there and I think its supposed to be on the inside.

What's everyone getting in the nodel buy? After somethought, Ive decided to get the sun and sand ebook and the sea anemone skirty.

Dani you should pick up the sts with the outside of the work facing you and the inside facing away. Does that help at all?

Yeah, I agree with RC, you probablt picked up ss on the wrong side.

I'm thinking about getting the beret, I have a lot of the others and haven't knit one yet.

Yeah, that's what I did. Knitting at 1:30am is a bad idea for me.

No knitting today until I get my schoolwork done. I want to finish the sleeves and CO my next project so I'm going to try and get everything done, we shall see.

I'm trying to decide what to do on the jungle gym.
I knit to the pattern but the soaker part starts so low on her hips. I kind of want to rip a bunch out and start the soaker quite a bit higher (like 1.5" higher). What to do, what to do.

I would rip it out. If you are taking all this time to knit it might as well make sure it fits her the best it can.

I've been lurking ladies... but I need to actually get my knitting back out. It's sat in the bag since April!!! I really want to, but I've been focusing on getting my house back in order (cleaned and decluttered)... I have a few projects I've committed to that I better get started so I can get them finished and then start working on NB fluff that I'll need for March 2013! Eeek!
