VBAC vs. RCS questions to ask OB...

I have an appointment with my OB on July 26th and I would like to get some suggestions on WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK. Here are a few I have thought of:

1) Why did you initially suggest a RCS for me? He did 1st C/S...
2) What are the risks of a RCS? (I know that there is a 4.something% chance of major complications resulting in a hysterectomy...this is terrifying for me)
3) You said I can do a TOLAC, what events would make you put a stop to it and require a c-section. (I know I can still refuse, but I am scared of something bad happening to baby, I will not have a doula, DP is not very pro-VBAC either...so support system is...well....me.)
4) Will I have to have an epidural with a VBAC?
5) Will I have the freedom to move into positions I want to labor in? (i.e. hep-lock, birthing bar, stool, tub, etc.)

6) What are the success rates of VBAC's for you and the hospital? I may inquire about the other doc's in the practice as well. {THX Computermama!)

I'd ask what his personal rate of VBAC success is and his c-section rate, as well as those of the hospital.

I would ask if the hospital requires continuous fetal monitoring. I think you have good questions so far. I suggest writing down what he says so that you can research it later, and it might make him think pretty hard about what he's saying and show how serious you are if he sees you writing everything down.
