At what point do YOU consider braxton hicks a problem

With our last child I didn't consider them a problem until they were coming every 2-3 minutes and the doctor wouldn't let me go home until they slowed down to less than 6 an hour. Until then I just considered them a painful nuisance. I did finally get to go home after about 5 hours in the women's ER.

Too be honest I would have taken them more seriously if I had realised just how frequently they were coming. I didn't know until the doctors hooked me up to a monitor. Instead I tried to just ignore them.

I can tell the difference between just tummy contracting and contractions that actually feel like hey could be dialating me. That makes me laugh because I had no pain with mine, just tightening that felt like they did with DS1. I went in because they never stopped. Slept in the hospital throughout the night (1cm at check in, 2cm an hour later so they decided to keep me), I was 5cm when I woke the next morning and still only having tightening contractions. They didn't feel like they were doing ANYTHING yet they were. I had 45 minutes of pain and then had my DS2. Not all contractions feel like they are doing anything...just sayin..
