I think you're making the right choice to go. Marriages need nurturing too, and this will be a good thing for you and your hubby. Happy parents make happier families. And yes, make sure they video it! And have your daughter call you right after to tell you how it went Have an awesome weekend.

Ok, we are on our way! We had to leave for the airport the same my mom and she had to leave so I was able to get her up and see her off. I talked to her when they got there before she had warm ups. Once we landed in our layover city ( where we are now) I called her to see how it went . She did great, even being the only 8 year old she had gained on a couple of other swimmers. Their relay almost didn't swim b/c one of the girls was sick, but they had an alternate there thankfully. She is a sister of another girl in the relay and I'm not sure if she was there as an alternate or to see her sister swim.
