That is awesome Jena. I wish I could say the same. Either DH doesn't want to discuss it, or when he does, he loses interest in a few minutes. We came up with the idea to find a baby boy name that has a "v" in it since we realized that DD1 and DD2 both have a "v" in their name and it is a kind of cool, but subtle way to make their names similar but different.

Re: Names

I'm 37 weeks today, and we still haven't settled on a name. We don't know the gender yet. Our short list looks something like:

Boy: Grayson, Vandiver (his mom's maiden name), Graham, Grant, Quincy, Franklin
Girl: Lucca, Quinn, Elise, Grace

We are super stuck on girls names. Our first baby is Constance Noel. We knew what we wanted right away. If we have a girl, we're going to be hmmming over it a while. And we are open to suggestions!!! The boys names we like all of them, so it will be a matter of what sounds good with what.

I super love Grant and Grayson for boys! I like Elise for a girl. Pretty!

Ugh guys with naming is hard. My DH always just lets me pick whatever I want...he will say if he doesn't like a name but never really loves anything. He suggested our second childs name, Farrah though I suggested this babys name and he really likes it. I really liked Everleigh too but he said no to that one.

Re: Names

My sister just named her boy Graham - and I love it. (Although I told her she should have spelled it GRAM because that would have fit a lot easier on a stocking...LOL).

Re: Names

DH and I have the hardest time with names. We managed to agree on ONE boy's name and ONE girl's name before I went into labor with DS thank goodness. And that was after months of negotiation. This time we're starting over with most of my favorite names already nixed.

Boo.

I really like medieval sounding names, or cool nature names. I dunno what DH likes, and I don't think he does either.

We have about twenty more weeks to figure this out...

Re: Names

Anyone want to suggest names with a "v" in it. We have the obvious ones- Levi, Oliver, Evan, David, Davis... I love Levi, but DH isn't sold. He loves Everett (his grandfather's name), but I am not in love either. Oliver would be ok, it is a brand of tractor (like DD2), but I don't really think it goes with the middle name we have picked (and DH Is set on) of Allen.

DH's dad's name is Kevin so he wants to stay away from anything that is similar or rhymes. (See DH Is making it difficult!)

Re: Names

We're going to name out little boy Oliver, at least that's what we've decided at the moment. Then his middle name will be my last name since I kept my maiden name.
