Re: Anyone have a "boy" at 17 weeks that turned into a girl later?

Guess it depends on whose looking -- I thought one of my DD was a boy at 17 weeks, and the tech was like, no honey, the baby has its hand between its legs, that's the thumb!, and then the baby moved her hand we had a great view, and it was obviously a girl.

Re: Anyone have a "boy" at 17 weeks that turned into a girl later?

I have two friends who expected girls and got boys, but don't know of anyone who went the other way! As my tech said..."it's not too hard to miss a penis and think it's a girl, but if you see a penis it's not likely to go anywhere"!

Oh, and our rainbow baby is going to be "Andrew John" if it's a boy, because it means "God is Gracious to Man"!

My u/s tech swore at 17 wks I was having a boy. I always had a feeling it was a girl(and always wanted one. I asked of she was sure and she said she had been doing it for 16 years and was 99% sure!! No one could really see after that appt so my hubby went with boy the whole time. I kept telling him no, it's a girl and would not buy any boy things. He was getting worried that I would be one of those moms dressing her little boy in dresses
We did have a girl!! I wanted to go back and find that tech to tell her!
