Does anyone have a recommendation of a baby carrier that could be used by my friend who is mostly paralyzed in one arm? I guess one that is super easy to put on first and then pop them in? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this.

Beco Butterfly. You put baby in, then put it on like a backpack.

I second the Beco butterfly. I have use of both arms but I have been known to put it on single handed if I am holding onto a wriggly child's arm in public.

The only issue with Beco is that they have military-style buckles, so it takes most people two hands to unbuckle them.

A pouch sling. It is very little fuss, convenient and no tightening or intricate wrapping.
