Vision changes?

I had BAD astigmatism before 2009. I had LASIX as a treat to myself after I got money from DS's medical malpractice suit. It was VERY weird to not wear glasses after wearing them for 24 years.

So during DS's and DD's pregnancy my eyes changed. I read that they would. But can eyes really change so much that I NEED glasses? Maybe just reading ones? I am having a really hard time reading but I am VERY reluctant to go get glasses as that was the reason I had LASIX.

Anyone else's vision changing?

Re: Vision changes?

Not this time around, but the change was dramatic with my first. I suddenly couldn't see to drive at night very well at all. i found this out driving home alone from parent/teacher night for my stepson Yes, I ended up needing glasses....like the next day I had developed astigmatism...apparently normal during pregnancy

I had astigmatism before getting pregnant with DS1, and my eyes have stayed them same. Just went last week and was also the same. My optometrist said if you get alot of water retention or swelling during pregnancy your eye sight changes as fluid accumulates in your eye too. I forget which part he mentioned, though

Re: Vision changes?

My vision got worse with DD but didn't seem to change with DS. It has already been changing again this pregnancy and I need to go get new contacts and glasses
