Re: Bloody show!!!

Had a bright red gush of blood today at 11:15 am and went right in to the MW. Soaked about a pad in 1/2 hour, then slowed down to nothing. Came home. She said I could check in to the hospital for a sono if I wanted, but we decided to come home since the bleeding stopped.

Laying in bed, but red blood is still trickling. I'm supposed to meet MW at the hospital if the blood is still red bythe evening, maybe 5 or 6pm.

I'm trying not to sob myself silly, as my kids are here, but I'm a basketcase.

Ddc oh honey

I would probably go in jic. Gushes of red blood scare me especially if it fills a pad in less than an hour

I would be seriously freaking out. Nothing would have kept me out of an ER at this point. Hope it is nothing!

Re: Bloody show!!! *cry* update in post #14

Just some light contractions. I need to pee again, so I'll check on the bleeding, but I keep laying here, not actually wanting to get up and do it.

The MW is hoping it was a burst capillary near the cervix, but if it was, the blood would turn dark then brown by evening. If the amount doesn't stay low to nothing or it stays bright red, we go back in a couple hours for a fetal monitor strip and sono.

O joy.

My dh underreacts to everything, which atm is really pissing me off. He's just like, o, everything will be just fine sweetie. And I want to punch him.

I would be in the hospital mo. I didn't even bleed that much that quickly with my placental abruption.

I bleed when dilating as well, but I would concerns about a placenta abruption...those can go bad REALLY quickly. Please go in now, k? Oh, and my blood never turned brown when I dilated, so you'll probably have to go in this evening anyways. Please go get checked, I'm worried about ya!
