(Car accidents are the number one killer of American kids.)

This is why I'm on the Wagon this month not buying dipes!!! I'm hopeing to save up enough to buy one before the end of the month. It's a boring life being on the wagon!!!!! But since I'm splurging on the Britax it's self, you better believe I will have an awesome print!!!

Re: Just bought 2 Britax

That's the biggest bummer of all--the Boulevard only has 4 stinky fabric choices. I'd had my eye on Luau and Aloha before DD was born (when Marathon was the best option) but they're not available in Boulevard. Same goes w/ the couture Neopolitan print. Man--I LOVED that print.
Had to go w/ the side impact for that extra peace of mind (since I live in CA and I see an accident every...single...day. Horrible drivers all around me.)
This is what we got--
My choice--Shannon(making DH feel better for future babies by saying it'll get filthy by the time another baby moves into it anyway and we'll have to buy a diff. cover...hope they actually SELL covers by then for the Boulevard)

DH's choice (Park Avenue)--I'm trying to tell myself it's fun and beachy, but it's not really

The print I'm still mourning over

They should be here in 2 days. The one thing making me feel better is knowing DD will be safe. She outgrew the height max on her Graco 2w ago--even tho it's prob. 1/4" it still makes me nervous...

Re: Just bought 2 Britax

I got the marathon for Chloe a few months back and I love it. I am still going to get Eli one since he is getting soo tall he needs a new one anyways. His poor little "stuff" is getting crushed with the seat he has now.
I will also be getting the baby one when it is closer to my delivery date.
I wish they were a little more affordable but the way I look at it is: I can't put a price on my kids safety. I would gladly pay $500 each if that is what they cost, since they are the best seats to have!

If it makes you feel any better...I spent over $1000 on 4 Britax (had to get 1 for each kid) and I looooooove them

Re: Just bought 2 Britax

I was just telling DH this weekend how much they are worth the $$$!! We bought two Marathons at once, but snagged a killer sale so that helped. I just wish our vehicles ALL had latch systems b/c they are sooooooooooo quick and easy to install!!

Really some of the best $$ I've spent!

It IS cute--and nice plush purple corduroy, too.
I hate the Park Avenue, BTW. Looked like ocean blues and greens in the pic--it's browns, grays and blacks. Looks like an old guy's trousers. Hate it. It's sitting in the box while I try to think of something creative to do to get a diff. print instead...
