Re: What do you need to to do??

I feel like I've done a lot, but then still feel like there's so much to do!

- get a new swing
- install car seat (figure out where everyone is going so there will be multiple moves I'm sure)
- get babies room set up (almost done just need to move crib in there from our room)
- send in ring slings (wrap conversions)
- give the house a good deal cleaning
- get the arm attachment for the stroller (for car seat)
- make more OS fitteds
- pack bags for hospital
- wash lambskins
- finish some knitting for the babe

Overall I'm just doing a lot of nesting / de-cluttering / organizing.. I find it hard to deal w/ the amount of STUFF we have everywhere right now. *pulls hair out*

Re: What do you need to to do??

Ugh, my list is so long that it is a four page spreadsheet! I am working my way through it, however we went out of town last week and I am still catching up on sleep and grocery shopping. Hopefully tomorrow I can put a serious dent in my list. Plus, I keep adding to my list!

Re: What do you need to to do??

Oh my- We still need to:

Install the last counter top in the kitchen
Get nesting boxes in the chicken coop
paint the baby's furniture to match the creamy/white crib
get and assemble the crib (it's on the way as we speak)
wash baby's clothes and diapers (waiting to do that until I get the furniture painted)
wash baby's carseat cover (since we are borrowing it)
**I did get the carseat bases washed out (they were nasty ... again, borrowing!)
finish making the baby bedding!!!
Get the 8'x4' mirror off the baby's wall- trying to sell it with no luck! =(
Get out baby gear from storage
and plan DDs 2nd birthday party-her birthday and baby's due date are ONE day apart.

Yes, I am going crazy and I only have 5.5 weeks left to get it all done! Not to mention finish up some sewing orders for my shop.

I hope this baby doesn't come early! I am so tired- I haven't even started the deep cleaning on the house or anything yet.

I'm having a little bit of a panic attack. I was looking for my list last night to cross something off and I think it got thrown away!!! I am sure I could remember most if I just start writing things down but it sure did keep me awake last night!

I'm planning a home birth so there is still lots of cleaning I need to do but am really not capable. Lots more to do, but all her clothes are washed and ready.

Re: What do you need to to do??

We need to put together and air out the stroller and carseat.
Find, wash, and figure out where to store baby clothes and diapers.
Pack hospital bag.
Air out the pack and play, and make sure we have all the pieces.
Clean the house.
Practice with the baby wraps.

I can't believe we should have another little one in less than a month.

-Sort, wash if necessary, and fold or hang up baby clothes stored from DD#1.
-Make up the pack'n'play with waterproof pad + sheet.
-Pack bag(s) for birth center.
-Pack diaper bag (DD#1 is potty-trained, so I haven't used a diaper bag since April).
-Ask my mom to order me a Boba 3G if she *really* wants to get something for baby.
-Install the carseat base.
-Buy another waterproof pad for our bed, for baby and me to sleep on.
-Get baby to turn head-down and stay there!!!

Re: What do you need to to do??

I'm not even bothering with a to do list at this point because looking at it would be a constant reminder of everything I have to do, but can't yet. I'm certain that would only be a recipe for anxiety. We are closing on our house this Friday. So I can't really get anything done until we move in.

Re: What do you need to to do??

Well...most of the deep cleaning in the house I did in prep for our baby shower a few weeks ago...However, I decided I am hiring a local mama to do another deep clean for me in early September downstairs at least.

Left on our list:
get my DS's 3rd bday party in order (3weeks between his bday and her EDD!)
paint her name letters (DH to do next week) and hang
I just washed the bedding, now I need to put it on!
finishing prepping NB diapers and inserts (waiting on shipments from co-ops!)
play the car-seat game with the truck (figuring out which convertible of DS's will fit best with the infant seat next to it)
Finish washing clothes and get more hangers
Pick out a home coming outfit!
pack my hospital bag (doing after DS's bday on cuz DD is not allowed to come that early! lol)
organize my BF supplies and bottle cabinet
finish putting toys and such on her bookcases and get the boxes out of there
Order stuff that we still need and did not get off the registry.

wow...when I write it out seems like a lot more than I thought!
mama to Asher(7) my cowgirl Skyler (4) , our furry kids; and wife to Doug since 10-23-05.
