Re: NTNP July 22-28th
I'm new to this.
This is my partner and I's first month NTNP. I was on Reclipsen and it was making me crazy(crying all the time, depressed, mood swings and so on). I told him I wanted to go off it and we discussed other forms of BC. I'm not comfortable with anything I can't get out of my body on my own...such as an IUD or the Depo shot. So he surprised me with a "let's let nature take it's course". I was like "uhh that leads to babies, I know this because I have one already". LOL. I told him we can't go this route unless he's 110% sure he wants a baby because I know that's what it'll lead to. So he said he was sure. I don't chart. Don't check my cervix, don't monitor fluids or any of that other fun stuff. The most I have is a nifty little app on my phone (period tracker) and when I opened it today it had flowers on it...so apparently i'm in my fertile window lol. I can usually tell when I ovulate (get a horrible pinching/cramping feeling on my left side) so we'll see. I know we'll have babies eventually so i'm in no rush and don't want the pressure of ttc (if that makes sense). I did buy a couple of diapers the other day...so I figure my stash will be complete by the time we do have a baby if I buy one or two every payday. Heh! |

Re: NTNP July 22-28th
Well I went to the OB's today. (It's a new OB as I have issues with my old one. ) I was really hoping to like her. Blah.. I didn't! I just wanted her to test my hormones to see if they are unbalanced or where I'm at on getting back to normal after the Depo. Of course she wouldn't. She just did a pregnancy test. She very nicely offered me birth control pills after I told her I was trying to get the BC out of my system so we could try for a baby. Then she told me she would check my hormones in a year if AF didn't return! She also said, "If your daughter is a year old, why are you still breastfeeding?" So not exactly going to win any crunchy awards!
(WHY WHY WHY do I have to live in the land of no midwives?)

Re: NTNP July 22-28th
Welcome Jessica! Buying diapers is fun
The app on your phone sounds really cool. My cell phone is so old it doesn't have the capability for apps...lol ![]() Rdesonia: WOW I would be ticked at that OB!! That is just rude for her to comment about breast feeding that way and it seems like she didn't even listen to you at all. Do you have CNM's where you are? That might help a bit? Good luck finding someone you like! AFM: We had a play date this morning, and now the kiddos are napping so I must make my self catch up on laundry!! Have a great day all!!

Re: NTNP July 22-28th
Ash_ I hate that going out with kids means behind on laundry. It happens to me ALL the time I am constantly catching up
![]() Rdesonia- I would be so mad, she didn't listen or even try. What is the harm in extra blood work? I don't get it, You are the one paying for it, if you ask for it they should do it. RRRRR. Sorry/ I don't know if I mentioned but I am homeschooling, private schools are the only English speaking non islamic schools here but they are outrageously expensive, and my husbands company doesn't pay for schooling like most contracts do. We just started this week, because it is Ramadan (muslim holiday that lasts a month and they fast during day light hours) and by law you aren't allowed to eat or drink in public. so since we can't go out (most things are closed during the day) and it is way to hot to be outside without water (over 125) we started school. This is the first year teaching the two older boys together 2nd and K and it is going really good so far. It is actually a bit easier then it was last year and the year before. I am so thankful for that ![]() Any way I am going to consider myself in the TWW unless I get some obvious signs of O coming again. My CM dried up today so we shall see. Hope you all have a great day.

Re: NTNP July 22-28th
I don't know what is going on with me. I have felt sick for a few days now. I think I had AF around the first of July but am having a little cramping and spotting today, so I guess now I am going to start being irregular again. This sucks, it would only happen as soon as DH gives in.

Re: NTNP July 22-28th
Jamie: Holy crap that is hot!! I will stop complaining about it being in the 90's here
I am really glad that school is going well for you and your boys. What curriculum do you all use? We are using MFW for DD who will be first grade this year. We will wait to start until the end of August though Yay for the TWW I hope that you end up with a BFP!! ![]() s@hmommy: Oh no, that is super frustrating! I hope it straightens out! Maybe it is implantation? FX! Chelsea: When will you start kindergarten? Are you using any particular curriculum? Hope it goes great for you! AFM: I just finished putting all of the laundry away from yesterday I don't mind laundry, but I seriously dislike putting it away. We are just hanging out at home today, as we are under a sever weather watch...yuck! On the NTNP front, I have noticed over the past few days that I have actually had a little bit of CM. This is the first since DD was born, so I was kind of excited by that. Not enough to think I might be ovulating, but still something ![]() Hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Ashlie- we are making it up I guess. I am using a kindergarten computer program (like the ones they sell at walmart), workbooks, and just reading from books. He already taught himself how to read, writing is his challenge (he can barely write his name). For dd1 I got a few prek workbooks from target $ aisle, and I picked up 1 for dd2 that is basically organized scribbling, supposed to help with fine motor, I figured that way she can have her own "schoolwork" to entertain her while her siblings are working.
Afm- dh and I are going to dinner tonight, and maybe to see batman tomorrow, for my birthday(the 31). Nothing exciting going on fertility wise, I'm still early in my cycle. Chelsea mom of 4, from my phone
