I forget that the Anne of Green Gables series is a kids series - I reread it about once a year. I sometimes reread one of my old Tixie Beldon books. I should reread the Little House books - dd1 has been reading them this summer.

i really love the Hollow kingdom trilogy. they are amazing books and give wonderful role models for girls. i also love little women the hunger games the giver and tons of others but those are some of my favorites.

eddie dic*ens trilogy (a house called awful end) and eoin colfer's books, esp half moon investigations and artemis fowl are my favs. little house, julie of the wolves books, spiderwick chronicles, the wayne thomas batson books, sisters grimm....

I love anything by Gail Carson Levine. Madeline L'engle and lots of others. i love many of the authors and book pp listed.
my dh loves the How to tame a dragon series.

The Boxcar Children series

I also love many Young Adult books and series, but only listed the books that are written for a younger age group.

I had forgotten about Bunnicula. That was a great book. I bet dd would enjoy it too - I'll have to put that on my list of books to get for dd.

Where the red fern grows was a good book but it makes me cry so bad at the end.

I LOVE Children's books. Beverly Clearly is probably my fave children's author in general. I was surprised to find that really liked the Series of Unfortunate Events books. they were so funny. I thought the last book in the series ended poorly though, but still worth it!
