Help with The Story of the World Volume 3

I received The Story of the World Volume 3 book and activity book from a friend. I've sat down to make lesson plans and I need some suggestions. The book is 42 chapters long and appears to have 2 sections per chapter. How would be the best way to break that down into a school year? Do more than one chapter a week for a few weeks? If so any suggestions on which weeks to combine?

One idea might be to do one section every other day for the entire school year. You will probably finish a week or two before the end of the school year.
