New inserts for pockets.

I'm looking for some new inserts for my pockets. Right now, we use mostly flats. I like them, but I'm getting really tired of all the folding. And it gives my DD a shelf booty, if that makes sense.

I have some Alva bamboo, and I like those, but they're so floppy. I have a hard time getting them in without them bunching up.

I'd like natural fibers and relatively trim. Any ideas?

I've been trying the thirsties in my pockets and just not feeling the love. They definitely are super trim but they don't seem very absorbent in comparison to a prefolds. Maybe it's a relative thing - like super absorbent for the thickness but don't expect to be able to replace your MF inserts with these.

I like PFs but they're not very trim to me. But then isn't think trifolded PFs in covers are trim either but some seem to think so.

i'm also interested in what mamas have to say here. i currently use prefolds primarily. i don't think they're terribly bulky. but i'd love to hear more on what others are using!
