Who converts prefolds ??
I have seen tinkle traps but then I read a few horror stories about how long she took and I dont want my prefolds gone forever.
I have 1 dozen Imagine Large unbleached and 1 dozen GMD large bleached that run slightly wonky due to being seconds. I would love to get large or toddler prefitteds and I dont care whether they have turned or serged edges. Not looking any closure and I dont want the inside lined with anything.

![]() Mama I have major stash envy. ![]() Just curious about the sizing though. I have some premiums and I'm not in love with them as pfs because of the extra length. Would I still have to fold then over or would the extra length get eaten up by elastic?

Re: Who converts prefolds ??
I had some converted recently at TT and she was fairly fast but they are a lot smaller than I expected. I sent UB imagine meds and got back fitteds about the same size as a GMD yellow and they don't fit!. I sold my yellows to buy these
We had plenty of room as a prefold so I figured even with losing some length they would still fit fine but not the case. They are super cute but unless you have a lot of wiggle room with the sizing I would be careful with converting them

Are you looking for prefitteds or to turn them into trainers? I just got some toddler prefolds turned into trainers and she has an option to add length to your prefolds if needed (mamawearbabywear.com). That said I've loved working with Tammi at TT in the past too!

Re: Who converts prefolds ??
I always told my customers to ALWAYS size up. You do lose some of the rise when you convert them. Infant prefolds converted would fit to about 12 pounds, premiums would fit to 20 or so and toddler to 35 etc. The nice thing is that you can always trim the rise and keep the width of the bigger prefolds BUT you can't make them longer.

I've done two customs with TT and both times it was fast. I wouldn't hesitate to use Tammy again. She even trimmed the rise off the premiums a bit for me because those things are huge

Re: Who converts prefolds ??
Is it typical for the premiums to be trimmed or folded when converted to prefitteds?
