Dishonest people make me want to spit nails!! Went to Target and they didn't have my phone, so they checked the video. Sure enough, I left it on the counter and the person behind me grabbed it before I had even walked away!! I was so distracted that I didn't even notice it was gone til we were home and the store was already closed. Went to AT&T and they suspended the number and marked the phone's EIN stolen. I'm due for an upgrade Aug 18, but they said they would do it Aug 1 for me. I appreciate that cuz it means I only HAVE to be without a phone for a week, but I was hoping to hold out til the iPhone 5 comes out so I could get the 4 super cheap. grrrrr

Oh so sorry mama! You'd think they could run the receipts if they paid by card and figure out who it is! I've totally been there and really feel for you!

Wow... I hope you filed a police report! (Did the person after you pay with cash? Can't the police track them if it is on video?)

so sorry!

I had my phone stolen at savers. I left it in the bathroom and realized it and sent dd back in for it and it was already gone. Immediately went into cricket, and they marked it as stolen. A month later someone tried to come in and activate it. They confiscated it and returned it to me but by that time I'd already gotten a new one

I can file a report...not sure how much good it will do, but Target said they would be more than happy to provide the tape for the police. It has a cracked screen and has been wet (so the detection pads are red)...plus it has a password lock on it. I can't imagine how it's worth ANYTHING to a thief!

They most likely realized it's not worth it and threw it away
