Re: Car (or SUV) suggestions for 3 across

With the Captains chairs Acadia, we haven't had an issue with a Frontier. There isn't a ton of feet room, but it is do-able.

Re: Car (or SUV) suggestions for 3 across

I have a Toyota Hylander and it would be tricky to have three across, but we have the small third row and I've used that for a third kid when carpooling etc. I am actually considering the radian as our second convertable seat just so that there is enough room for me to squeeze between the kids if needed. Good luck to you!

Part of the problem we have with 3 across is that the kids can't keep their hands off each other. Everyone is crying by the time we get to the end of our block. It is a never ending battle in DH's car.

OP, you can fit three seats in pretty much anything. The only vehicles you can't is in ones with only two usable seats (ie some sports cars with one two seatbelts, or the RAV-4 with the belts that overlap).

I did manage to get 2 nautalis and a baby trend bucket in the back of DH's Camry a couple weeks ago--it was super tight and would personally be a pain for all the time use but if I needed to I now know I can.
VERY curious which seats fit in the explorers!
