whatever you do, do NOT point your toes. Any time you stretch, bend your feet with your toes towards your knees instead of away from.

hydration-if you are low on water, it will cause more cramps

regular exercise-worn out legs with good circulation cramp less.

-DDC- I drink an 8oz glass of coconut water at night. It helps me ward off stupid leg cramps that just kill me in my sleep. I do some mild stretching before bed too so I am loosened up too. I noticed when I roll to my back it happens a lot. So I try to stay on my left the best I can. I know they suck !

DDC...I also try to flex my foot and that usually will stop it. But man if I don't my leg is sore for DAYS after!

My OB says it means to up your calcium intake, but I haven't had any.
SAHM to my Dd(6/08) , Ds (9/12) and foster mom. Always praying for our five former foster kids.

Mine suggested magnesium, makes sense sine it's a muscle relaxer. I'm only getting them like once a week though now, thank goodness! I hate waking up to that!
