Today, Edeltraud turned a year old! I remember posting when she was first born, and I hope to be posting again next year! Here's to the love of nursing!

awww congrats! im gonna try to get to one year im almost at 5 months lol..for some reason i feel like i wont make it there...guess i cant get over the fear of her having teeth and biting me lol..guess i need some encouragement.

Teeth aren't so bad! My lo has 9 teeth and we've had only a little bit of tooth dragging at nap time, which was less painful than the nail scratching IMO! I think as time passes, nursing just becomes easier and easier. There are some very worthwhile rewards for nursing into the first year. Tonight as she was nursing, she patted my arm and came off and said, "mama!" then crashed her face into me for a hug. The smiles and love are just soo worth it. I love this time so much.
