Grovia shells with snaps?

does the snaps version fit differently than the aplix version? does it still fit well? is it good for pad folded flats? does anyone have an action shot of a grovia shell with a pad foldedflat? TIA!

Re: Grovia shells with snaps?

I only use the snap shells, though I have a few hook and loop. I find that it has more give at the waist because the bulky loop panel isn't sewn on, for example my 37 inch tall 32 pound toddler could totally rock the snap shell, but I don't think the hook and loop would fit her well, my 14 month old is still sometimes in the lowest rise setting of the snap shell, depending on what's in it. I use their stay dry inserts, but with my daughter I didn't have enough, so I padfolded flats and prefolds in there with no problems. I'll see if I can dig up a photo, I might have one because there was a thread asking for that well over a year ago, and specifically took a picture of my daughter for that thread! she was 2 at the time in a snap shell with a padfolded flat, nice and trim.

I like the fit of the snap shell much more. I totally agree with pp, it has more stretch and fits my almost 35lb toddler, and the aplix shells are outgrown by him.
